Mobo Awards: JLS, N-Dubz and Chipmunk triumph

JLS, N-Dubz and Chipmunk all won awards tonight (September 30) at the 2009 Mobo awards.

The awards which were held in Scotland for the first time saw JLS and N-Dubz bag two Mobo awards each, with Chipmunk picking up one.

JLS won the awards for Best Newcomer and Best Song, while N-Dubz scooped the coveted Best UK Act and Best Album awards at the SECC in Glasgow, .

Last year's Best Newcomer – Chipmunk – walked away with the Best Hip Hop award, despite being up against artists such as Eminem, Drake and Kanye West.

The ceremony also included performances from Jermaine Jackson, Tinchy Stryder, JLS and N-Dubz and the first performance by the War Child collective Young Soul Rebels, who played 'I Got Soul' – their version of The Killers' 'All These Things That I've Done'.
